"Twice Loved, Once Redeemed"

Marlo's desire in this session is to challenge women that are pursuing purity in their sexual lives. While in this society we remain bombarded with sexual messages and constant pressure to give in to whatever feels good, Marlo encourages women to hold fast to Biblical teaching when making their sexual decisions. With her unique perspective of being both widowed and remarried, Marlo looks at temptations, boundaries, and commitments with authentic accuracy and candid commentary. Being fully commited to keeping the marriage bed sacred, Marlo knows all too well the natural longings of a woman’s heart and, more importantly, the rewards for doing things God's way. On the flip side of that coin, she will share about the costly consequences for making unwise sexual decisions. Sharing personal stories of other women in her life, Marlo will walk you through their painful pasts but also share with you the powerful restoration they received by taking responsibility for their unwise physical choices. She will offer hope for those scarred with shame, and offer encouragement for those who long to enter their married life clean, pure, and ready for God's blessing.

In this session, Marlo examines our social obsessions with physical perfection and challenges us to turn that microscope of scrutiny inward ~ inspecting the spiritual condition of our lives with the same keen precision we often reserve exclusively for the outward persona. Through humor, music, storytelling, and studying God's Word, Marlo walks us through a step-by-step look at how we can compare a day of spa-like pampering to the process of readying our hearts for God’s intimate touch in our lives. By following Marlo's three step plan, an Extreme Faithover is possible for even the most challenging heart. "My Life as a wIFe"
(Notice that the word "wife" is spelled, "we", with a big "IF" in the middle!)

In this session, Marlo takes a humorous, yet challenging look at what it means to be committed to your husband in love and faith; and what it means to truly live out the Biblical exhortations God gives us as wives. In the past, writers have likened the relationships of men and women to everything from planets, all the way to evergreens and easy chairs! The truth is, men and women are very different and most days being the Proverbs 31 woman seems just too daunting a task to even think about. Marriages, as well as life, are always full of big "if’s" – there's just no way around it. However, the male/female relationship is under attack in America, and we need to hone our marital skills keener than ever before if we are to present the world with successful examples of what marriage should be. Men may very well be from Mars, and we might even be from Venus, however, our differences don’t have be destructive. God's design is not flawed … we are. So, if your "we" has a big fat "IF" in the middle of it, then come learn how we can turn those "IF's" into "forever's" with joy in our spirits and love in our hearts. By God's grace, we can become the Proverbs 31 woman and enjoy it, too!

"My Life as a Military wIFe"

This alternate version of Marlo's "wIFe" session is geared towards examining all the "IF's" that come as a result of walking down the church a isle with your sweetheart on one arm and Uncle Sam on the other! With nearly 20 years experience of being a military wife, Marlo fully understands the commitment it takes to successfully live with a man in uniform. Through stories, both personal and observed, Marlo will take us on a heartfelt journey of laughter and tears as we take a closer look at the challenges and victories presented by life in the US Armed Forces.
